Foundation launches a new Strategic Doing webpage to support community initiatives

Writer: Karl PrattKarl Pratt

The Sheridan County Community Foundation (SCCF) is excited to announce the launch of a new Strategic Doing webpage (www.growsheridancounty.org/strategic-doing), designed to serve as a central hub for community-driven initiatives. The webpage will provide resources for active committees, serve as a historical archive for past projects, and offer opportunities for new participants to get involved.

The launch follows productive Strategic Doing meetings recently held in Hoxie and Selden, where community members engaged in discussions on developing and strengthening local projects. The new webpage includes contact information for active project committees and notes from recent and past SWOT analyses, making it easier for community members to collaborate and stay informed.

Community Support & Available Resources

SCCF remains committed to assisting project leaders by offering connections, expertise, and funding opportunities. All projects are possible with the right support and community effort. Additionally, Bottle KAP Studios in Hoxie has generously offered its space for committee meetings. Interested groups can contact Karl Pratt at 785-675-1240 for details.

SCCF Special Projects Coordinator Sofia White will be serving as the Strategic Doing point of contact moving forward. Please feel free to reach out to her via text, call, or email if you have any questions, need assistance setting up meetings with SCCF staff, or require help finding resources. She will also be checking in with committees regularly and would love to attend your meetings when needed to offer support.
