The Sheridan County Community Foundation is pleased to report that $21,245 in donations towards the 2021 November Match Month challenge have already been received at the time of this publication.

“We are off to a fantastic start!” said SCCF Board Liaison Karl Pratt. “This is such an important campaign for not just the foundation but for our county and residents as it will benefit them and all future generations for perpetuity!”

This is the sixth year for the foundation to participate in the annual fundraising campaign which is sponsored by the Dane G. Hansen Foundation, Logan. The Hansen Foundation will match $1 for $1 for all funds raised locally up to $50,000 by the Sheridan County Community Foundation.

Sheridan County has reached and surpassed that goal each year. SCCF invites all those able to contribute to help them do so again this year, which has the potential of adding $100,000 to the Cultivate Sheridan County Endowment Fund, from which future grants will be given to area organizations.

No donation amount is too big or too small for this challenge. All with an affinity for Sheridan County and the communities therein are encouraged to contribute and help make a difference in the lives of those in the area for years to come. Donations can be mailed to SCCF, PO Box 445, Hoxie, KS 67740; dropped off at Bottle KAP Studios at 721 Main St. in Hoxie or online at www.gnwkcf.org/donate-sheridanmatch.

For more information, contact Pratt at 785-675-1240, or karlpratt.sccf@gmail.com.

SCCF is an affiliate of the Greater Northwest Kansas Community Foundation based in Bird City.

The foundation seeks to encourage, prudently manage, and distribute charitable contributions to improve the quality of life in Sheridan County residents, now and in the future. To learn more, visit www.growsheridancounty.org. Connect with SCCF at www.facebook.com/sheridanccf.
